TOURIST
ACTIVITY AND CHARTER BOOKING SERVICE CENTRE
Located within the Anchorage Marina Resort Shop, our Tourist Activity and Charter
Booking Service Centre offers a wide range of leisure activities both on and
off the water designed to ensure visitors and conference delegates have an enjoyable
and memorable experience whilst in Port Stephens.
Bookings and ticketing for
the a wide range of activities can be readily made at our Tourist Activity and Charter
Booking Service Centre.
CRUISE
VESSELS AND FERRY
Port Stephens has a large number of commercial cruising vessels from which to
enjoy the delights of this majestic blue water wonderland. A wide variety of
scheduled cruises is available for individuals, families or groups. Conference
groups and organisers can also charter cruise vessels for a special event.
Dolphin-Watch cruises operate
daily year-round and in the migration season Whale-Watch cruises are a must.
Sightseeing cruises, dinner dance cruises, cocktail party cruises are available
and can be arranged to suit group functions.
FISHING
CHARTERS
There is a variety of vessels which can be booked
for fishing and game fishing charters. Experience the excitement of hooking,
tagging and releasing a magnificent marlin in the blue Pacific waters or the
joy of landing snapper, kingfish and other piscatorial delights.
Charter prices usually include
tackle, bait and fuel.
RUNABOUT HIRE
For a pleasant hour or two fishing or exploring Port Stephens, Sail Cruise at
Anchorage Marina has runabouts for hire. All vessels are fitted with wheel steering
and sun canopy. They are easy to drive and no licence is required.
SEA-PLANE
FLIGHTS
You can design your own sea-plane adventure and hire the aircraft and pilot
for just half an hour or more. Other options available are return or single
flights to Smiths Lake, Wallis Lake, Forster/Tuncurry, Tea Gardens, Newcastle,
Hawkesbury River, Pittwater or even Sydney, The sky’s the limit!
During the East Coast whale
migration seasons, flights are available for what is best described as “the
ultimate whale-watch”.
Enjoy a really unique experience
and see the majestic beauty of Port Stephens and our Pacific coastline from
above.
Fares will be subject to
the nature, distance and time of flight.

There is a variety of other tourist activities which can be arranged at our
Tourist Activity and Charter Booking Service Centre such as sea kayaking, jet
boating, four-wheel drive tours on Stockton Bight, horse trekking, day tours
to the Hunter Valley vineyards and much more.
TRANSFERS
A wide range of vehicles are available to transfer guests to &
from Newcastle Airport, Newcastle CBD, Sydney CBD and Sydney Airport.
We have available
Minibuses, Limousines & air conditioned Coaches for your comfort and safety.
